I have sleep apnea but do not use a CPAP. I take three 250mg aspirin tablets a few hours before I go to bed, I have discovered that aspirin has a profound effect on my ability to sleep.

Anyone else find similar effects? I have seen suggesting pairings in this forum with glycine and bicarbonate. Anyone try those?

You mean it is easier to fall asleep , you do not wake as much or you feel more refreshed?

Do you eat after that? Have you tried bag breathing?

I, too, have had some success using aspirin for sleep. For at least ten years I have noted aspirin's effect but did not understand the mechanism. For me I think it reduces histamine which definitely prevents me from falling to sleep. It doesn't work every time, however.

Just wondering, why no CPAP?

I absolutely can not sleep without my CPAP. Maybe my sleep apnea is worse than yours though.
