From what I understand l-arginine increases nitric oxide formation, I started supplementing it before I knew this (new to Peat, discovering something new every day it seems  ) but it has really seemed to help my hypoglycemia a month in. Also my cysts are all but gone (could also be the low dose progesterone, but the progesterone I started already three months ago and it did not affect the hypoglycemia much).

I found some studies that would support this:

Any thoughts from expert peaters? Maybe if you are deficient in l-arginine or your needs of it are greater it is ok, or is it a big no-no always?

Your body makes its own Arginine from foods, I dont think its worth supplementing unless you have very high blood pressure. your cysts and blood sugar were helped by the Progesterone. keep taking it, and probably you are not taking enough P. also, my Hypoglycemia was a result of low thyroid/stressed adrenals. once I was treated, no more hypo.
