Are White (composite) Fillings More Toxic Than Amalgam?

Max Daunderer, the german dentist who treated 10 thousands cases of amalgam poisonnings wrote cavities are caused by a deficient immune system against some type of mouth bacterias in some people.
He proned a vaccine, and said sugar had only a limited effect, meaning even people who avoid sugar still get many cavities from the other carbohydrates they eat.

Dr David Kennedy, who made a great doc about fluoride poisonning, maintains cavities are an infection that is passed from the mother to the child, and can be eradicated by antibiotics and local treatments with iodine on the teeths taken at a young age.

There actually exists an apparatus that encapsulates the rotten teeth, then injects ozone under pressure which kills the bacterias lodged inside the dentine.
Then all the body needs to do is remineralize the demineralized dentine, and voila, no need to drill the tooth.

This will save everyone's teeths. They of course won't commercialze it....

Here is an interesting post regarding the lack of disclosure to the public about ingredients used in dentistry. The Corporate Power structure determines non disclosure regarding vaccines, foods, dangerous pharma drugs, dental materials, etc…

The white fillings may be just as toxic….If this is policy in Europe, It must be far worse in the US.

As you can tell from earlier postings I have been interested in CNS-affecting and other chemicals used in dentistry. It has been surprising to find the scarcity of information on ingredients in dental materials used daily all over the world. We know more about ingredients in cosmetics than in dental materials.

In the field of dentistry it is the responsibility of the manufacturer to disclose ingredients he think might be of importance to the dentist or the patient. The only mandatory legal regulation to my knowledge is that the manufacturer must provide a Materials Safety Data Sheet or MSDS.

This is mandatory for any chemical product and lists ingredients that might be hazardous during transport, handling or in the case of fire. It does in no way take into account that the product is intended for use inside the body.

Most manufacturers provide an MSDS and nothing else. The result is that a majority of the ingredients are not disclosed. The database DMN (only in Swedish, Norwegian and Finnish unfortunately) said to provide information on ingredients of dental materials is a prime example on this lack of information, http://www.dmn.odont.umu.se/

This might serve as an example, http://www.dmn.odont.umu.se/default.aspx?id=4709#
Faced with the pressure to phase down the use of dental amalgam the Council of European Dentists, CED, has made the following statement also giving evidence of the fact that dental products of unknown content are marketed within the EU:

“3. The profession urges manufacturers to fully declare the chemical composition of the alternative materials;”

“6. In the best interest of the patient, dental professionals should consider not choosing to use a material where the manufacturer has not made a full qualitative declaration of its chemical composition.”
http://www.eudental.eu/library/104/file ... 6-1916.pdf

Back in 1990 I wrote a report on endodontic materials and medications (in Swedish unfortunately) finding a number of questionable ingredients including arsenic, cadmium, creosote of wood tar, phenol, lead oxide, chloroform and much more. I was told by the Swedish dental establishment at the time that many of these were no longer used even if they could still be present in individual patients. This was not true seen from a European perspective. Some of these dental materials and medications are still on the European market to this day. 24 years after my report the European Medicines Agency has recently acted on arsenic containing products used in dentistry,
http://www.ema.europa.eu/ema/index.jsp? ... 058004d5c1

The disclosure of the content of dental products must in my opinion be made mandatory as a first step towards removing unsuitable products from the market. Unfortunately the dental community has not been able to do that on their own as the example above shows.

What do you think of organic dentistry? There are some people claiming that root canals are dangerous and bacteria's nest?

@burtlancast @haidut Dr. Thomas Levy, MD JD (cardiac specialist) says root canals are a first class ticket to an early demise. He is also a proponent of high dose vitamin c (liposomal preferably) for just about everything.

Here is a link to a 60 Minutes program piece video about a NZ man who was cured of "terminal swine flu" and hairy cell leukemia by 100g IV ascorbic acid infusions and 6 packets of liposomal vitamin c later on. Btw he had white out pneumonia during his hospital stay. There are a lot of videos about this guy. What do you guys think?

This very confusing. What is the best option then for someone who has a very big cavity? Anyone have any experiences of having crowns fitted?

Edit: Woah! Just checked google, £500 for a crown in uk!

My biological dentist made me take a test to determine which composite fillings are biologically compatible with me. The report that came out had a lost list of composite materials, and showed which ones were and weren't bio-compatible with me. This was in the US, and my dentist used a safe material for my composite fillings, which replaced the eleven mercury fillings which he removed over a few sessions, as a one-time removal of all the fillings would be too stressful on my system.

While I still have a copy of this list, I doubt it would be as useful in the Philippines, where the materials aren't as easy to get. I still go to a biological dentist here, and have my composite fillings replaced when they wear out. Composite fillings wear out much more quickly than mercury amalgam fillings.

@freal quit complaining about the composite fillings. Any would be better than the mercury amalgams. After all my mercury amalgams were removed and after I had undergone mercury chelation through IV, I found myself able to run much longer distances without getting exhausted from all the lactic acid buildup from oxygen being depleted due to the mercury displacing the oxygen attached to hemoglobin. For so long, I wondered why with just a 1 km run I would be so exhausted and kept thinking it was a lack of training. I trained and trained then but grew frustrated I couldn't not get so quickly drained. It was the mercury! So don't kid yourself and think mercury is a minor issue.

Even if you don't run (which I don't do anymore), your immunity will improve as well. I was very sickly before and had flu at least once a year. After that, it's nearing twenty years I've been flu-free.

If somebody cannot access a biological dentist, in your opinion is it still better to have the plastic filling over the mercury one?

If you're just pasting over a new cavity, a plastic filling would be better than a mercury one, as mercury is more toxic than any plastic used as a dental filling.

If you're purposely removing a mercury filling even before it's worn out (it doesn't wear out for a long time) just to replace it with a composite filling, it won't be a good idea. Drilling out the old mercury filling itself already exposes you to a sudden surge of mercury into your system, and that's just one tooth. Even when you use a biological dentist, who uses suction dam to minimize your exposure to the mercury vapor, you're still exposed. You'll still need to take supplements before and after, and even undergo chelation therapy to remove the mercury you're exposed to.

The problem though with biologist dentists, is that they will never recommend that you replace your mercury filling. Doing so will risk them losing their license. You'll have to request it from them. And if you have a good insurance plan, it would be reimbursed. Otherwise, it's on you.

That's the US dental system. Not sure elsewhere.

Here in Europe, all insurances reimburse plastic fillings, and dentists have been phasing out amalgam fillings for the last 20 years.

Bit of an old thread, but I’m scheduled for composite fillings in a couple of weeks, and this has me second guessing/ looking for other options. Of course my natural sense of health would tell me installing foreign objects in the body is not health promoting and should be avoided if at all possible.

But, what other options are there?

Many biological dentists purport to utilize composite that is bpa free- it would seem this is the best you can get if not using gold. Rotting teeth are also a huge health threat so tending to dental care is important for health and using the healthiest materials obviously best. its a huge dilemma as i am against dental xrays yet when i refused them for a decade i ended up with a root canal (since removed) that i was told i probably could have avoided if i had gotten dental x rays. So very hard to navigate the balance- i try to minimize xrays as much as possible and use all of the remedial measures but had to have a tooth pulled last year (the root canal) and crowns and its just impossible to find dentists who will do these things without xrays and i would say my health has greatly improved since that tooth came out even though i had to have xrays to get it out.

Thanks, so gold is the better option vs composite? Not sure if this is even offered by my dentist but I’ll check

A couple holistic dentistry’s near me do BPA free 100% ceramic fillings. After looking for a while it seems to be the best choice.

I do not have first hand knowledge of this but was going by the information articulated on this thread. it makes sense though that gold would non toxic. would it be white though or tooth colored?
