Hi guys. Before this i have always been using sea salt and decided to substitute it with Table salt iodized (cerebos brand). The reason is to improve my thyroid level (hypothyroid). I just notice that i am not eating enough iodine through foods. No bread, no milk, less seafood, less fish, 2 eggs per day. I notice when i change to table salt i get frequent sneezing and runny nose. I also feel more water retention on lower abdomen. Could it be the anticaking agent? could it be the process towards thyroid level improvement?

Current temperature (oral)
Morning - 95.6
During the day - 97.0

i am thinking to ditch the table salt and add more iodine foods. More eggs (4 per day), 1,2 glass of milk, seaweed perhaps twice a week, and 2 bread everyday. But it doesn't make any sense to me. Salt is Salt right?

You could try pure salt (kosher/pickling) and add some Lugols or nascent iodine if needed. I don’t think Peat recommends supplemental iodine though.

some salt contains sugar like dextrose or maltodextrose and they also contain other ***t like aluminum.

i don't know if sea salt is better as i used to get bloating from it

try eating more sea food like tuna or shrimp
