Anyone Experiment With Borax?

This video claims borax as an effective detox protocol for the thyroid - paired with various things. I know people on this forum are partial to it's author as well. Anyone try this?

I've also been reading about detoxing the highly reactive halogens (primarily fluoride) and using borax to do this, but from what I've read, iodine is the safer choice to use.

I just learned that it can increase estradiol and testosterone when taken orally, and presumably topically.
