Anyone ever feel sensations in their thyroid?

so im taking 20mcg of T3 per day, split with meals (3-5mcg at a time). its the only thing thats helped my hair shedding. Ive built up to this dose over about 8 months, and have been taking t3 for about a year and a half now.

i sometimes feel my thyroid flare up, its a weird sensation, i know what goitre feels like and its not that. its like a sudden flare/burn in the thyroid that lasts 1 second, and immediately dies down. it seems to only happen at night when im lying down for bed...

would be interested to hear some thoughts as to why this is happening, if anyone has experienced similar

i thought it would be too much T3 perhaps but i have no other hyper symptoms..heart rate still in the 60's, cold extremities, tiredness

Have you been hypothyroid for a long time? Also are you saying when your dose is too low you get the thyroid pain?
