Any Ideas Why I Would Get Weird Ear Issues After Eating Chocolate?

I've noticed it consistently. Almost like an overactivation, movement in ears, sometimes ringing.

It's dark chocolate, coconut sugar, no additives.

The ringing is tinnitus. I know Peat has said tinnitus can/may be caused by intestinal irritation. I wouldn't be surprised if an allergy could cause it as well. Chocolate seems to be a problematic food for quite a few people. How soon after consuming it do you get symptoms?

Ok, it's within 5 minutes of consuming. I feel like I can get that ear thing after consuming lots of espresso too. With the ear stuff comes a feeling of heart unsteadiness too..like a really mild anxiety.

Caffeine maybe? 5 minutes is awfully fast though, and chocolate is relatively low in caffeine. I used to get similar symptoms from coffee when I started consuming it a few years ago. It was months before I could have more than a cup without getting anxiety and a racing heart.

Dark chocolate is not typically prepared with alkalai i.e. dutch processed. It will usually have higher iron content as well as being more estrogenic.
Personally having had a crohns history in the past, dark chocolate would always give me problems. Not good quality milk chocolate.

I get a weird vibration noise in my left ear and facial flushing whenever I cook my food in visions cookware. Very strange stuff.
