I certainly hope that was a joke about voting for Trump. He epitomizes what is wrong with our country.

Isolationism? I can't hate a man who says what's on his mind rather than carefully scanning his dialogue for the "politically correct" vocabulary. Bernie Sanders is to socialism what Donald Trump is to libertarianism. I admire his passion for ideals, but I do not wish to live in a society where wealth my own property is redistributed.

Freedom, sir; freedom of self and freedom of property. No central banks, central bureaus, politically protected corporations, or military-industrial complexes.

And I enjoy the contortions he causes within the trickledown party.

He would be seriously dangerous as President.
Well, in reality, maybe not,
because he would quit within a couple months.
But then, he seems to be inclined to make Sarah Palin his VP,

Does this intense fervent yearning for The Donald signify
a hunger on the part of the Amurcan people for the wonders of the Austrian School of Economics?

-build giant walls around the entire country to protect us from dirty, swarthy rapists!

In the context of the modern world, I completely agree. Many modern-day wealthy families are manipulative, lying, deceitful, and commit lobbying in backroom deals. The political system, as it stands, incentivizes successful people to abuse political clout to obtain power.

On a side note, I do enjoy your way of writing. It's almost as if everything you say is a haiku and somewhat ominous.

Actually, Ray Peat went to the Soviet Union in the late sixties. His intention was to talk to Trofim Lysenko but sadly he was away at his dacha during the summer. Instead he talked to Soviet magnetobiologist Yuri Holodov. He talks about this in his latest interview with Politics and Science. So yea, that may be a deal breaker.

But really though, what kind of timeline does the human race have I a monumental shift in conciousness doesn't happen soon and I mean tomorrow? I give us 50-100 years tops before estrogen and pollution wipe us out. Either that or a plague.

Bernie's brother stood for election to Parliament in my area. (He has lived in the UK a long time, and is a very nice guy).
