I certainly hope that was a joke about voting for Trump. He epitomizes what is wrong with our country.
Isolationism? I can't hate a man who says what's on his mind rather than carefully scanning his dialogue for the "politically correct" vocabulary. Bernie Sanders is to socialism what Donald Trump is to libertarianism. I admire his passion for ideals, but I do not wish to live in a society where wealth my own property is redistributed.

Freedom, sir; freedom of self and freedom of property. No central banks, central bureaus, politically protected corporations, or military-industrial complexes.

I get a good laugh out of Trump sometimes.
And I enjoy the contortions he causes within the trickledown party.

He would be seriously dangerous as President.
Well, in reality, maybe not,
because he would quit within a couple months.
But then, he seems to be inclined to make Sarah Palin his VP,
so we would be left with her.
Probably worse than The Donald, so....

Does this intense fervent yearning for The Donald signify
a hunger on the part of the Amurcan people for the wonders of the Austrian School of Economics?

Or does it simply reveal that the essence of libertarianism in USA is 95%:
-don't take my damn hard-earned money and give it to lazy black people and Mexicans!
-build giant walls around the entire country to protect us from dirty, swarthy rapists!

For thousands of years, societies functioned on these two basic principles. The raping part was come and go.

Right, let's flush America down the toilet, let big business rape what's left of our land and pollute the rest so badly that living a healthy life is impossible. All so you can keep your "freedom". As if you own anything worth worrying about. Greedy, small minded scumbags think about themselves when the planet is on the verge of destruction.

I don't understand how this point could be considered weird or even attention worthy. Do you have a passion for stealing?

After a comment like this, obviously nothing you ever say about politics again can be considered seriously.

Bernie Sanders for President?
Donald Trump for President?

Which leaning undermines credibility?

Oh my God.

Which has a record of a higher number of millions of dead people? The Soviet Union, or anything else?

Yeah...I'm really hankerin' for some good old fashioned Stalinesque communism.
Check out the youtube chart again.
Nobody is arguing for communism.
We currently have a socialist setup in the USA, and in most of successful Europe.
That is to say, some wealth is redistributed.
And still...The Donald hasn't seemed to have had any problem piling up "10 billion."
Oh how the pinko USA system has utterly crucified that poor man.

I've seen that video before, and I find it interesting.

Rich people have a lot of money.
Poor people do not have a lot of money.
Poor people should steal from the rich people.

Do the ends justify the means?

You are talking about the current setup, when the discussion about Bernie Sanders as a future president represents the future.

When you change the topic like that, clearly you have no arguments.

Moreover, although I made a few posts for entertainment, it's not worth discussing anything with people like you. People who make false accusations of racism are despicable and not worth talking with.

I do object to you creating a fake quote of me.
I do think that is against the rules.

lol, "steal"

In Thomas Piketty's best-selling book "Capital in the 21st Century"
he shows, exhaustively, that wealth concentrates over time.
It trickles up.
Not down.
People get into power, like say the dynasty of the Bushes.
They and their friends figure out how to get a hold of the levers of power.
They manipulate things so that money flows up to them.
Think Romney, for example.

It is their ilk who are the stealers.

Exactly correct aboht america being rome, quite literally. My gf told me today tbat "kaiser" is another form of "caesar". We're slaves. Both tbe bible and satanism/new age are dogmas of slavery, albejt with elements of truth. America will prosper so long as it remains the most effective mode of slavery.

In the context of the modern world, I completely agree. Many modern-day wealthy families are manipulative, lying, deceitful, and commit lobbying in backroom deals. The political system, as it stands, incentivizes successful people to abuse political clout to obtain power.

On a side note, I do enjoy your way of writing. It's almost as if everything you say is a haiku and somewhat ominous.

Actually, Ray Peat went to the Soviet Union in the late sixties. His intention was to talk to Trofim Lysenko but sadly he was away at his dacha during the summer. Instead he talked to Soviet magnetobiologist Yuri Holodov. He talks about this in his latest interview with Politics and Science. So yea, that may be a deal breaker.

But really though, what kind of timeline does the human race have I a monumental shift in conciousness doesn't happen soon and I mean tomorrow? I give us 50-100 years tops before estrogen and pollution wipe us out. Either that or a plague.

Edit: and I certainly hope that was a joke about voting for Trump. He epitomizes what is wrong with our country.

Bernie's brother stood for election to Parliament in my area. :): (He has lived in the UK a long time, and is a very nice guy).
