Guys does anyone have any suggestions for Premature Ejaculation?

So far i've heard pelvic floor exercises can be good, now what ones do i do? How often etc?

Caffeine tablets before sex also..

Any help on this would be SO appreciated !! Really effecting my life.

One might conclude that increasing penile sensitivity would be a bad idea for PE guys, if 1 + 1 = 2.

However, 1+1 never equals 2 when it comes to the human body, therefore, you might want to try it and share it with your GF because she will quiver much quicker and you might find your PE is less of a problem if she has already done the volcano victory dance a few times. Not to mention the possibility that histidine might actually help with the PE.

I found a very easy, simple ayurvedic regimen, traditionally suggested for the whole range of PE, ED, impotence. And it really works! (At least for me, that is!) You take some ghee that is medicated with the herb brahmi (it's called brahmigrita, or simply brahmi ghee), like 1/4 - 1/3 of a teaspoon, something like that, and massage the glans penis. Every night, or morning and evening, or once or twice a week. There are different suggestions about frequency. I went with morning and evening! After this massage you put the tip of your indexfinger on the dimple on the upside of the glans, and gently hold it there for a minute or two.

After a few months of doing this my lifelong PE and ED was history. 30-60 minutes with full hardness and without any edging or any need to ejaculate. And the penis gets bigger than I measured before this, like almost an inch bigger.

The ayurvedic view is that the problem is caused by "vata aggrevation", i.e. stress, anxiety or trauma, and that brahmi ghee is specially vata balancing in this area. The dimple on the upside of the glans marks a particular "marma point" that supposedly directly influences the hormones and nervous system activity for sexual performance.

I use this Organic Brahmi Ghee: Brahmi Ghee, organic 200 g - only at Amla Natur

I was already using this brahmi ghee in each nostril morning and evening. That way it is good for the hair and for the brain. So for me it was easy to add the glans penis application!

No, I`m not affiliated with this brand. I just wanted to mention what I personally use. Also, anyone who wants to take the trouble can make their own brahmi medicated ghee. Just google it to find the procedure.

There is kind of dimple, or very shallow groove, at the edge of the upper side of the glans Well, I never really noticed it myself until I learn about this, then I saw it!

Note that I experienced the full effect only after many month of doing this, In the beginning the effect was very minor, but, still noticeable enough to be encouraging.

So your penis actually increase one inch ? Not just an inch because of erection quality increase?

Yes, as you say, it is the increase in erection quality that made it bigger. But that is good enough for me!

Get a Fleshlight or other similar sex toy and some water based lubricant, and commit to only masturbating by thrusting into it. Also commit to doing at least a 20-30 minute session, wherein you will not ejaculate until the time is up. Commit to trying to thrust continuously without stopping for at least 20-30 minutes.

Commit to doing this every single time you masturbate. I've found porn can be helpful in that it is extremely stimulating, which is something guys with PE need to adapt to: being able to face extreme stimulation without having the urge to ejaculate.

The relaxation technique is very helpful: next time you masturbate, when you feel the urge to ejaculate, the very first urge, completely relax your body. Just let go of everything. Complete relaxation. You'll find the urge to ejaculate will go away. This takes continual practice, and the more you do it, the more natural and easy it will feel.

You'll find you can relax like this while still being able to thrust. I'm convinced this relaxation is more mental than physical, and the more you practice, the more you'll find that you can mentally let go of the urge to ejaculate. You'll notice it, and be able to let it go immediately. The more control you get the more you'll be able to completely suppress the urge to ejaculate in the first place so it doesn't even happen. Not until you consciously want it to.

Using a toy like this will also build your cardio and uses the same muscles you use during actual sex. The urge to ejaculate also feels different while you're thrusting compared to using your hand and it's good to get acclimated to what it feels like, over and over again, so you can get control over it.

Basically, it turns masturbation into something productive. If you're going to masturbate, you might as well turn it into a training session that can potentially cure your PE for life. I had only been doing it a couple weeks before having sex again, and noticed some improvements even in that short of a time.

Don't be discouraged if you find yourself needing to stop very frequently early on. You might go for a 20 minute session but spend a large portion of that time not moving at all, and simply trying to resist the urge to ejaculate. That's normal. You have to have faith that over time it will get better, you will become less sensitized/excitable, and you will get more control. Just keep making the effort to go at it without ejaculating and slowly, over time, you will become more tuned into your body's sensations and get much more control.

I am all for other natural methods/supplements/even drugs (sparingly), but I think this method makes the most sense. Not everyone has a girlfriend to have sex with regularly, and even if they did, a lot of guys still masturbate at least once in a while anyway. Better to make masturbation something productive that is addressing problems you're having in your life directly, instead of using it to temporarily numb the pain of them.

Just think of all the years so many guys masturbated with a primary focus on edging and ejaculation to porn. It will take time to reverse that.
Personally I'm using porn again, and the funny thing is that I am using porn much more "normally" by using this masturbation method. I'm watching entire 20-30 minute videos without skipping and without looking at anything else, because my primary reason for using the porn is just to provide extra stimulation and excitement, which will make me want to ejaculate more, so I can desensitize myself to those urges.

Before, it was all about finding the "best" clip to ejaculate to, and focusing on nothing but edging and putting ejaculation up on a pedestal: the big payoff I would save for the end.

When you look at masturbation more like a training session and do it this way, you are inevitably rewiring your brain. Don't listen to the idiots that say "yeah, you're wiring your brain to ejaculate into a toy" -- no. You're wiring your brain to calm down, and focus on sustained sexual pleasure without edging/ejaculation. You're training your brain to enjoy sex without the constant pressure of looming ejaculation.

Focus on the sensations in your penis when you're thrusting and have zero urge to ejaculate. Recognize what that feels like. Pay attention to it while you're doing it. You'll notice that the urge to ejaculate is completely different from this. It's all mental. It's all about getting too excited, too anxious, and losing control. When you relax and really get in touch with the sensations in your body, your control will improve, and continue to improve over time.

It can and does make sex much better in real life. I had modest improvements after a couple weeks, and when I had sex again, the improvements translated. I was able to calm myself down just the same way I did in my "training sessions," and last longer. Funny that ******* a rubber toy would make me feel like I was able to connect more with a real woman. Because I'd practiced, I was less in my head, and more in the experience of the moment without feeling overwhelmed, and the sex was a lot better as a result.

You'll feel less lazy too. Trust me :) I feel like 1,000x better after masturbating this way than I used to doing it the old way, sitting down and assaulting myself with my hand like a monkey on a cupcake. I usually will break a sweat and feel like I had a pretty good workout after. I still do it the "old way" sometimes, but I think guys like us with PE should avoid it entirely.

We need the equivalent of PE Boot Camp, and that's what this is. Drop and give me 20! (minutes of thrusting) Might wanna imagine a female drill sergeant for that though. If it were the guy from Full Metal Jacket that might be weird. Though I guess thinking about that might help you control yourself to the point of completely losing your erection and then never masturbating again. So yeah, don't do that. Sexy drill sergeant girl it is. You've got 20 minutes, Private, and I expect you to use each one wisely.

Don't be concerned if you feel like you're making zero progress at first. I am about a month into this and only feel like I'm just starting to make some more serious improvements. Think of all the years masturbating with edging/ejaculation as the primary focus. It will take time to get the brain re-wired.

Also: if people ask you what you've been up to, you can just say "Oh, you know, just dicking around."

Real sex as much as possible is ideal, but if you masturbate ever, AT ALL, then definitely try this method. Masturbation gets a bad rap in general that it doesn't deserve. And when you know your sex game is on point, you will feel a lot more confident around women in general. It's amazing how PE can destroy a guy's confidence. The good news is that it's within your power to change it.

For some reason people think men are retarded and need to be told that good sex isn't just about thrusting, blah blah blah. They have no idea what PE is like. Don't listen to them. You are not stupid and you don't need to be talked down to. Take it from someone like me who knows how much of a hell on earth PE is, and knows how it feels to have no control and to feel completely hopeless about it.

I'm committed to solving this problem. I've made some progress already and have accepted it's just like working out to build muscle: it takes time, commitment, and consistency. If you commit as well, you'll start seeing improvements. And the longer you go without masturbating "the old way" (edging, edging, edging, ejaculation), the more your brain will re-wire to the new way: sexual pleasure without the urge to ejaculate, and the ability to choose to ejaculate only when you want to.

One last note: if you have a gf/wife, make the effort to have sex again as soon as possible after you ejaculate. Most guys find it much easier to last longer the second time they have sex within a short time frame. And never have sex with a full bladder. A full bladder will put a lot of pressure on your pelvic area and can make PE even worse. Just hit the bathroom first.

Getting more control over PE does make sex more enjoyable. While you're thrusting you can just do whatever you want, touch them wherever, kiss them, grab them, really pay full attention to them and be in the moment together, etc., it's great. People don't understand what a prison PE is, just completely robs a guy of his full enjoyment of sex. Nobody WANTS to have this problem and for most guys it's just like being in a prison of anxiety that they have no way out of. With this method, there is a way out. It will take time and commitment but I'm confident that it works.

I've found taking two full size aspirin, vitamin E, pregnenolone and DHEA all together is supremely relaxing. It's possible a combo like that, over time, could help suppress the over-excitement that is causing PE. PE is likely a symptom of systemic over-excitability or Sympathetic nervous system dominance, so anything to counteract that should be helpful as well. A combination of mental/physical training and desensitization combined with supplements like this, and a Peaty diet, should go a very long way in correcting the issue.

Dang, I wish I could do that at age 63.

I think the sensitivity issue due to a lack of histidine may be a factor in PE. Once fully sensitive, the last thing you want to do is end the fun, so it is easy to calm down and enjoy her ride.

How much histidine? Beats me. I just dump a teaspoon in my OJ. One 500 capsule is probably more that enough but never hurts to try less or more. I doubt there have been many fatalities.

From my experience, there is variability in impact from dosages and I cannot say more is necessarily better all the time. My other head tingles when I brush my hair, too, which is fun.

Actually, I theorize that histidine is vital for fully electrifying a human body.

I've been experiencing absolutely horrible PE, far beyond what I ever experienced before, after being prescribed an atypical antipsychotic. I'm going to hold off on naming it just because I'm paranoid about being found on Google. I was on it for several months, stopped taking it one month ago, and am still experiencing this problem.

The drug is lipophilic, and may take up to two months to clear out of the system from what I've read online, potentially more if you have a high body fat percentage. The half life is over 90 hours. I'm just hoping that this problem goes away eventually as it's completely debilitating and demoralizing. Here are the major players and why I think this medication caused severe PE for me:

D2 partial agonist
5-HT1A partial agonist
5-HT2c antagonist

It's a perfect recipe for causing premature ejaculation. Over and over I've read online that 5-HT1A hyperactivity is associated with reduced ejaculatory latency. Add in that D2 promotes ejaculation and 5-HT2c appears inhibitory, and again, this is a perfect recipe for premature ejaculation.

The particular medication I'm on, out of this list, has the highest level of agonizing 5HT-1A as well as D2, and the second highest level for antagonizing 5-HT2c.

Since I started this drug I've been unable to even get to the point of penetration, and on the one occasion I managed it, ejaculated immediately. Even during oral/manual stimulation I'm unable to last more than a couple of seconds. This is completely unlike anything I've experienced prior. I *thought* I had PE before, and while I did have some struggles, this is a whole new level of hell.

I frequently would have to "check in" with myself and slow down a bit during sex, or pause once in a while, but mutual satisfaction never seemed to be a huge issue and it didn't consume my thoughts at all. While I wished I could last longer and had more control, it wasn't a pressing issue and in hindsight I was able to last for more than an adequate amount of time.

No issues lasting very long times during oral/manual stimulation and ejaculation upon penetration was never an issue a single time as far as I can remember.

I'm hoping the effects aren't permanent, and the PE I'm experiencing 1 month after stopping is a result of remnants of the drug still being stored in my tissues and releasing on a regular basis. I can only pray that this will go away.

Perhaps the science isn't so simple as I'm presenting it here, but my experience has made me extremely suspicious. Enough to stop taking the meds. I also will note that I started experiencing these problems at least a month or two before I decided to do some research. I didn't anticipate having this problem when I started "treatment" and only began to suspect the "medication" after experiencing this severe PE for a prolonged period of time.

In the meantime, I'm going to stop CBD as well, though I was only using it occasionally, as it's a 5HT-1a agonist. I'm skeptical of anything activating that receptor now.

This gives me hope for more common-sense therapies like I mentioned before: changing masturbation habits, and using a device that emulates intercourse (such as a Fleshlight). The idea being that by changing the way you masturbate, and focusing on sensation without ejaculation, you'll re-train yourself over time.

Reverse Kegels (relaxing the pelvic floor muscles) are supposedly another good intervention. I'm not sure I'm doing these correctly. But I can see how tightening the PC muscles may exacerbate PE as they contract during ejaculation. Traditional kegels are done as if you're trying to stop the flow of urine; reverse kegels allegedly are done as if you're trying to urinate. A harder concept to grasp as it involves relaxing as opposed to contracting.

I've had the idea that if you can handle intense stimulation for as little as a few seconds, you should be able to maintain that for a few minutes, and beyond. Why? It's the psychological response to the stimulation that promotes ejaculation, not the stimulation itself. There is a "letting go" involved with ejaculation, a split-second psychological "consent" where you're just like f*** it -- and ejaculate.

So there may be room for psychological improvement.

This is definitely exhausting though. I had some issues prior to this medication but after experiencing this side effect I've become morbidly depressed and suicidal at the idea of never being able to have sex again. Getting nervous at 1 month into withdrawal from the meds. If it takes several months that's fine with me as long as it goes away eventually.

Checked out the other thread, and found it interesting that a couple people really vouch for caffeine for PE. Interesting. That metabolic syndrome is correlated with PE is also interesting.
