Hi all,
I have done some stool tests. The only thing that currently shows up is c diff without toxin a & b. I wonder if that causes all the issues in the small intestine as it seems to mess with bile and thus fat absorption? What (antibiotics) would you recommend to fix the digestive issues? I have already experimented with the raw carrots, mushrooms, bamboo sprouts, charcoal and other herbs (berberine, garlic, clove, etc.) but had only small success.
Ray praises low doses of penicillin for a longer periods. Has he ever stated his opinion on rifaximin? What do you think about its effectiveness and safety?
Before I went on a more appropriate diet I had a short round of rifaximin which briefly eradicated all my symptoms. However, after stopping it all symptoms returned. Now I wonder if I should try rifaximin at lower dose for longer timer or is the first failure a good enough sign not to give it a 2nd try?
Best
