I'm trying to help a friend with anhedonia who hasn't bought into Peat. But I did convince him to use tianeptine, since he has clinical above range serotonin levels.
He's been taking tianeptine for a few days, and it's helped his anhedonia, but he has had some other issues now.
He feels like he's breathing in a smoky room now. I'm wondering if he had hyperventilation that reduced when he started tianeptine or he's hyperventilating now due to increased metabolism.
He's also gotten some sort of numbing/dissociative effect from the serotonin.
Any sort of advice would be appreciated.
