Androsterone VS. DHT?

I get the sense that these are somewhat interchangeable, but am hoping to get a better sense of the pros and cons of each. When would someone choose one over the other? What are your experiences with each in comparison?

Androsterone is primarily a neurosteroid, so operating on the brain. I don't think all of it converts to DHT either, some of it stays purely as androsterone and androsterone metabolites. DHT causes effects that will be a lot stronger and over your whole body. It's also pretty widely known to be more dangerous with a risk of suppression. Hence why it's illegal for most people without prescriptions. I've only tried high dose androsterone and it suppressed me so I don't even wanna think about what DHT might do to me.
