Hello all, I have problem. Its 5 days, I am not using Andro but I still have joints pain. Its better day by day but do you know why I have it? Some type of deficiency from using Andro? I am eating 3 eggs every day so cholesterol could not be the problem. I dropped all supps except estroban. Thank you.

Likely because you were exceptionally sensitive to the dry joints effect of low estrogen and low cortisol. We all have our little quirks with our bodies, nutrition isn't an exacting science, it's more of an abstract science then most understand, simply because the organism is so wonderfully complex and at some level mysterious.

Youll probably just have to wait a few weeks while your joint lubricate... I believe dietary salt, calcium and supplementing gelatin and magnesium would all be helpful for that issue...

I think you are producing plenty of dopamine, it just goes down the norepinephrine pathway pretty quickly. Inhibiting that mono-oxygenase enzyme is one possibility but I would try to find out what is causing its overactivation. Have you had tests for copper and iron? If not, I would recomment getting some tests for serum iron, ferritin, transferrin, iron saturation, serum copper, and ceruloplasmin. Both copper and iron are pretty important for the cathecolamine system and especially NE levels.
Will do Haidut! Thanks so much for this guidance.

Just guessing here but has anybody explored low cortisol as the cause of your issues with this substance,it's potent stuff and it does lower cortisol along with other supplements it could be pushing cortisol a touch lower than your used to,lower cortisol does not mean better in most cases.
Lowered cortisol will effect libido.
It might not be estrogen.
This. High cortisol is implicated in various addictions, including porn/sex addiction, so it's reasonable.

11 keto DHT seemed to shut down hpta. Androsterone does not. My rat has seen an increase in his sex drive and better digestion.
Risingfire, can I ask how old you are? You said you didn't suffer any shutdown, but are you a younger guy?

Got Energin! Got Oxidal! (B2, B6 and MB from threads re MAO). My Doc said she will run the copper and iron tests.

I would love to, but as of 2012 it is illegal in the USA :-(
However, androsterone is a direct precursor and metabolic studies showed it converts in androstanedione more than anything else and the androstanedione then converts into DHT. So, taking 5mg androsterone may yield 1mg - 2mg androstanedione, which is more then enough to inhibit aromatase and also raise DHT levels. Taking 5mg a few times daily will probably raise these androgens even on the very first day.
The information I have read says androstanedione is a precursor to estrogen. If androsterone preferentially converts to a hormone that easily converts to estrogen, isnt that a problem? Or am I missing something?

I take Andosterone about once a week these days. I'm 31. There was no shut down whatsoever at 1 or 2mgs. I really don't need anymore than that.

Hey guys,

Does anyone have link for the study that showed Atromid (androsterone) wasn't suppressive in humans at doses of 3 x 50mg per day?

Haidut mentioned it in another one of his threads about androsterone but I couldn't find it anywhere.

@Risingfire

Wow, so you're taking only 1 or 2mg of haidut's androsterone per week and still getting a noticeable effect? Sorry if I missed it in any earlier posts but I'm assuming this is being applied to the scrotum? What type of effect have you been noticing at this dose? Are the effects stable throughout the week or do they start waning by the middle of the week or so?

Thanks for sharing your experience.

My own gut feeling is that much smaller and less frequent dosing for haidut's androgens are required than many people are currently using.

How often do you take pansterone + androsterone combo? 3 times a day? 1 times a day? A couple of times a week?

It was a little too much with thyroid and 2 mg's of androsterone. I generally take it at the end of the week for a little swag bump with the ladies :ss2
