gf has been pointing out that I have bad breath with acidic odor.
this is caused by an acidic stomach right?
now the thing is, it seems like I am getting it when I consume sodium bicarbonate. I am not 100% sure about it, and it does seem counter intuitive since it lowers stomach acid. However, when I stopped it for like 2 weeks she told me it disappeared. I think that was the timeline, at least.
Does the sodium bi cause me to release acid through my breath or something? Is this perhaps even desirable?
other things that could be causing it are the 1-2 litres of OJ I have implemented or high coffee consumption perhaps. But the Timeline points at sodium bi. I drank OJ in those 2 weeks she told me I didnt have bad breath, I think.
Is long term sodium bi consumption bad?
