I want to take vitamin E for all the benefits, but I'm currently not brave enough to try the oral route again. I've tried too many times and always get fluey feelings and nausea.
So I want to apply it through my skin. If I assume a 1:5 absorption ratio, then if I apply 500 IU daily I will have 100 IU in my bloodstream. That's a good start but I might double it.
It's so sticky though, so I think I will dissolve in oil for all over body use every day. I've tried concentrating on one area, but I find it gets so sticky it is difficult to avoid spoiling clothes plus it forms an almost waterproof layer.
I was wondering, if I apply it all over once every day, then will the absorption into my bloodstream decrease after a while? I am thinking that like progesterone cream, the skin/tissues might get saturated and so you don't get the full amount coming through into the blood after a while (which is why they tell you to rotate the application area for hormone creams).
Thanks!
