I’m looking for a good trace mineral supplement.

It would be great if it contained the following minerals in the good forms:

- Selenium
- Manganese
- Copper
- Zinc
- Boron

I know not of any. Most have either chromiun or iron added as well, that I think is better to avoid.

I know a couple of people that do much better with a multi vitamin. My girlfriend for example got lot worse, when we tried energin as a replacement for the multi vitamin. And I think it must have to with the trace minerals.

In theory, oysters, eggs and liver contain a lot of those trace minerals. However, it can be challenging, some people hate the taste of the liver, others are allergenic to eggs, and oysters are super expensive.

Trace minerals seem also well suited as liquid supplement, so maybe @haidut, @LifeGivingStore, @healthnatura are interested in releasing such a product.

I think it doesn’t exist. Inow started experimenting with the following 3:

- Jarrow Formulas, Zinc Balance (includes copper)
- Now Foods, Selenium, 200 mcg
- Solgar, Chelated Manganese

I’m not sure about a good boron supplement, but Ray Peat also dont seem to be a fan.

ReMyte? Life Extension Only Trace Minerals? Healthy Origins also sells a multimineral (includes calcium and magnesium). If you'd like to avoid chromium, you may have to get each mineral separately.

Have you felt any difference from supplementing them?
