It wasn't me who gave you that advice it was birdie. Sorry to hear your husband is still in such poor health. I find when using sodium bicarbonate it's good to have ph strips to check the urine ph. As you know I too had tetanus vaccine and I've not been the same since. I started using curcumin recently so I will let you know if that helps.
I did buy PH test strips and he was a low 5 two months ago. He should be around 7 to 7.5? I have had him on resveratrol and turmeric.

Yes, why resveratrol?
I have read various studies on it being good for cancer.

"Using a variety of in vivo and in vitro models, it has been proven that resveratrol is capable of attenuating the various stages of carcinogenesis, some of which are briefly described in Figure 2. A vast body of experimental in vivo and in vitro studies and a few clinical trials has presented evidence of resveratrol’s great potential as an anti-cancer agent, both for the prevention and therapy of a large range of cancers. Resveratrol has a very low toxicity, and, although it has multiple molecular targets, it acts on different protective and common pathways that are usually altered in a great number of tumors. This suggests that resveratrol may be more suitable for use as an anti-carcinogen and it can also effectively exert it antineoplastic effects in conjunction with diverse chemotherapeutics and targeted therapies. The ability to prevent carcinogenesis includes the inhibition of oxidative stress, inflammation, and cancer-cell proliferation, and the activation of tightly regulated cell-death mechanisms. Due to the complexity and number of cellular processes involved, however, more studies must be performed to completely understand how resveratrol could be used to prevent the development of cancer."

This part about tyrosine, in your second link, looks promising! Tyrosine is in gelatin and brewer's yeast.

"Turmeric was associated with significant iron deficiency anemia, consistent with the binding of available iron in the gut and the prevention of absorption. This resolved after the turmeric was stopped, consistent with animal studies."

Thank you Birdie for getting in this thread to help me. He can't sit or stand without assistance, as he can't balance, because of those locked psoas muscles. I will certainly take the oj baking soda advice straight away! I just gave a half teaspoon in water last night on an empty stomach. Bag breathing is good with the baking soda? I did find a very qualified board certified physical therapist who said he would msle an exception for house call to check him put snd see what he could do. The doctor also homeopathic and focuses on pain management. Hopefully he will have access to the acetazolamide. Here are his qualifications!

Oh, he does sound pretty good and bless him for making the house call. I don't think he can prescribe but could get you in touch with a colleague who does that.

I did remember, later, that he was in no condition to get into a tub. Take care and report back to us. I'm sure you will.

I learned that "board certified" therapists, with 2000 extra hours of classes for the ad specialty areas they choose, can prescribe some medicines. They are a doctor of sorts in their area. What they can't prescribe they can refer you to someone who can. I was warned about going with a licensed therapist possible doing more harm than good working with people with bones, and to look for a board certified one.

I echo tyw's thoughts on using CA inhibitors. This post of his dates way back to 2016:

I particularly like this statement of his:

Therefore, I believe in fixing the underlying conditions. One of the manifestations of compromised function is increase in Carbonic Anhydrase activity. Forcing action in a higher level regulatory mechanism puts the body out of balance.

Sometimes, forcing a response is good -- adjusting to high altitude over a course of only a couple days. But we do not know enough about what this entire system is doing, to confident say that we can ensure balance by affecting this one enzyme.

I found this Canadian on-line prescription company with the acetazolamide Ray Peat talked about in that Myeloma study. Is this too good to be true? Is this a reputable place to get this. It certainly seems safer than Mexico.

I don't know that pharmacy but I do know people who buy from Canadian pharmacies and are satisfied with them.

Well I ended up cancelling my order. Immediately after I ordered the drug my cell phone rang labeled suspected spam. It had a recording asking me to push a buttom to confirm my order. So I hung up and did some internet investigation and saw that one onbthe warnings about internet prescription scams is never to buy from Canada. So I called the bank and cancelled my debit card. Back to the drawing board. I just don't know which Canadian company is safe.

Buy a Visa card that you purchase and load with an amount of money at Walmart to use for online ordering. Is it possible to buy it over the counter in Mexico? And possible for you to travel there?

Good idea on the Visa gift card! With all the Cartel horrors and me looking like a California girl I wouldn't step foot in Mexico. My cousin's wife's boss got held hostage down there for ransom and another fishing buddy got robbed and beat till he was crippled.

I get your point about going to Mexico. I am from the Midwest so I only have read about getting medicine from there.

I don’t know if there would be similar benefits for your husband but @Braveheart has had success with artemisinin for his leukemia.

Thanks for the info on Rhus tox 30c.
