24-hour Light Exposure

Are there studies about what happens when humans are exposed to light all the time (though maybe covering their eyes to sleep)? I think plants can't grow that way, so I wonder if there are negative effects for humans.

Plants can grow like that. Many plants are grown under 24 hours of light, some plants need certain photo periods to flower tho.

It seems that Peat had this notion at an earlier stage of his studies.
He tried sleeping all night under his chosen bulbs.
I can't remember exactly what adverse symptoms he had,
but seems like he just said something like: "I didn't like it."

Given what Peat says about darkness--
that it is stressful and most people die when it is dark for that reason, etc...
it would seem an obvious thing to explore.

Maybe that increases your use of glycogen ? Maybe one needs to get used to it

I was sleeping with the light shining on me all night for heat. I recently got a down comforter and stopped using the light. Haven't noticed any difference.

I would definitely agree with that J.

Thats funny you brought this subject up. I was thinking about this a couple days ago and decided I need to order one of those face masks to give it a shot. I will definitely be trying this out in the very near future.

Oh, and Cliff. I know what kinda plants your growing. ;) :rolling

A dark shirt (on your face) might work as well. And having some orange juice available.
