Im planning to make another formula for transdermal application of hormones (DHEA, DHT, test base). I have tried DMSO and other stuff.
I want to try just mixing ethanol + oil.
The question is if the type of oil matters? Ie, would MCT oil provide better absorbtion than olive oil etc.?
Im...
A few months ago, I posted a study demonstrating improvement in localized, ocular steroidogenesis by administration of a small amount of niacinamide (as an aqueous solution) directly into the eye. I think user @ecstatichamster may have already tried this himself and I think he even started a...
What is the topical equivalent of 50mg of DHEA? How many mg topically would I have to apply to my scrotum to get the same benefits of a a sustained release 25-50mg?
Same question for Pregnenolone. How much topical pregnenolone is equivalent to 100mg of oral pregnenolone?
I have seen posts here of people saying aspirin does their stomach bad and thus they can't take it, even though in some cases/contexts it could be beneficial I suppose for almost anyone.
If you can not "stomach" straight aspirin then here are several other methods to use it for those willing to...
I am posting this just a quick follow up and possible enhancement over the approach discussed in my previous post on estrogen causing hair loss. The study below demonstrated that applying daily the HED of a few mcg of T3 per square inch of skin increased hair length by several thousand percent...

A hormone called androsterone, produced in the placenta and other organs, plays a role in...
This seems like a very interesting study, but is in French and not available from PubMed. So, I am hoping @burtlancast would be able to obtain it and maybe translate the relevant fractions. The study shows that dietary stearic acid is both incorporated into cell lipids and metabolized further...
I've posted before on the putting pansterone, androsterone, vitamin K and thyromax on my scrotum with some notable success. Haidut recommended I tried pure T3. Well here are a few observations:
-two drops of 8mcg of tyronene each on each testicle before bed: very sound sleep, and sex drive and...
There was a recent discussion about high dose pregnenolone on the forum and some people sent Peat my comments that high dose pregnenolone can inhibit androgen synthesis. Peat replied that he has not seen such effects, but did not directly speak against the idea. Privately, I got quite a few...

"UVB damage affects many cellular compartments and components. Here we identified taurine as a novel endogenous factor in protection against photoimmunosuppression. This novel UVB defense mechanism complements the well-studied...
As discussed in another thread related to DHEA, subcutaneous administration of steroids is considered the golden standard for bioavailability and systemic effects. That same study showed that topical application of DHEA dissolved in popylene glycol is only 33% as bioavailable as through...
I posted some studies before showing that ALS is a disease of mitochondrial origin and delivering copper directly to the motor neurons may be a viable treatment. Here are some of the previous posts on that:

This study shows that adding caffeine to an herbal extract used for weight loss resulted in increasing its fat loss efficacy by more than 100%. The herbal extract was used topically as a 2% solution and caffeine was added in the same concentration as adjuvant. After 32 days there was significant...
In support of the recently launched SolBan, here is an article in the popular press about caffeine's sunscreen effects and protection against skin cancer when applied topically.

I saw some information about topical (as well as oral) thyroid -specifically T3, helping wounds heal better. There was also mention of the topical for hair growth. Just wondered if anyone used it before.
Hi everyone,
It seems that topical dosage for vitamin D (may be even for all the liposoluble vitamins) is even lower that Dr Peat usually recommends ( usually 4 to 5 times the oral dose on skin).
