Does anyone know why this would happen? I only take about 2.5 grams at a time, 3x a day? I will say that my temps have come up a bit and my mood is a bit better. But I wonder if I'm overdoing the BCAA's?

    Do BCAA's cause depression?

I started working out again and am using BCAA's throughout the day. However, since taking them, I've noticed that I've sunk into a pretty deep depression. I thought they reduce serotonin, and therefore, would help alleviate depression. I've noticed a similar response with Cyproheptadine. Any...

I tried green can for several months, but found it increased stomach swelling, so switched to glycine. I've been using glycine for several months now, 3-4 T per day. I read on the forum it's not good to take a single amino acid for long periods, so will taper down on it, but need a protein...

Taurine Protects Hair And Inhibits TGF-beta1

After reading some stuff about taurine from Haidut, it finally caught my eye when i read its a vasodilator and lowers adrenaline. IIRC Charlie also posted about how taurine made his adrenaline go down substantially when he tried it. Since Peat says minoxidil works by increasing NO, which is a...

    Taurin/Beta-alanine conncection

    Beta-Alanine, Carnosine, Lactate And Histamine

Beta-alanine is the limiting substrate for the production of Carnosine. Carnosine (not carnitine) is the primary intracellular buffer for lactate. Histidine can take two (at least) metabolic pathways. It can end up as histamine or, if there is a good supply of beta-alanine, the histidine is...
