I've started to see a correlation now. I've been supplementing different types of magnesium for around half a decade.
Recently I've started taking it (800mg) post-workout as opposed to before bed, as I eat only one meal a day and can therefore take it on an empty stomach after training.
I've noticed that the days I skip taking it, I don't seem to have any cramps, yet within 90 minutes of taking it after training I'll start to cramp up.
So what's happening here exactly?
Is it depriving my body of other minerals such as potassium? I eat potatoes almost daily so I wouldn't think that would be the case.
Anyone have any idea what's going on?
