- Coconut oil promotes weight loss (fat loss)
- Starch are fattening.

What happens when you mix these two together?
Someone has experience with this?

depends on how much starch you eat too

I have mixed coconut oil with rice, potatoes, bread for over 5 years.
i never used much starch. maybe 2 slices of bread a day. maybe 2 or 3 potatoes a day.

Never gained weight. ate about 50grams of coconut oil a day. 2 litres of milk a day. always been slightly underweight.

2-3 potatoes a day seems like a lot of starch, no?

Starch creates an insulin response, since its devoid of fructose, unless it has alot of potasium, like potatoes. When insulin is signalled, all fat from a meal is pretty much synthesized onto the body. Fo weightloss do starch and no fat, or fat and no starch
