Hello everyone,

This is a thread based on everybody's recommendations of Peat-approved products that are more obscure. For example, brands and flavours discovered that are flavoursome, and make you feel good at the same time. Here is a product list of my own of food and drink products that I'd recommend trying that are Peat-approved (I live in the UK and so some of these products may be more difficult to get worldwide.):

- Fentiman's Cherry Cola - A herbal-based old soft-drink's company produces this Cola in the UK. In my opinion, it is my favourite soda/soft-drink. Plenty of fizz (I like burping) and plenty of flavour. This to me is what spinach is to Popeye.

- Black truffle salami from Aldi - Now this will contain sulphites which can be a problem for some people as it is a cured meat, but it is the best cured meat I have found, and reasonably priced for such a high quality meat at just over £2 a pack. I recommend this due to it surpassing any other cured meat I have eaten in terms of taste.

- Asda Specially Selected fresh orange juice - My favourite packaged orange juice in the UK. Robust sweetness, very little if any sourness, well-rounded complex taste. I find some fresh orange juices in supermarkets sour or bland, but this is neither. They must use a very tasty type of orange because for me I prefer it to other unconcentrated orange juices, it's smooth too with the pulp removed.

Lavazza Qualita Rossa fresh coffee beans - My favourite coffee beans, it has gone down a treat when served to friends and family also. The ground version is just as good, plus it is vacuum sealed which I believe will reduce endotoxin, it tastes so fresh.

Sainsbury's Taste the Difference triple-cooked in dripping frozen chips - Most frozen chips/french fries contain sunflower or rapeseed oil here in the UK. This does, but in trace amounts, plus after you've cooked these in the oven, you get a solid white mass on your oven tray, indicating the heavy dripping content. At around a gram of PUFAs per 100 gram, these are by far the best oven chips I have found in the UK.

Ape coconut products - Ape is a food brand that makes the only crisps/chips that I have found in England that contain no sunflower or rapeseed oil, and are cooked purely in coconut oil. The Ape slightly salted coconut puff balls only contain; coconut flour, rice flour, coconut oil, and salt. They can be bought at Sainsbury's and Ocado.

Ok I'll leave it at that for now, I hope this helps people, although it's ended up quite specialised for people in the UK. Please add any suggestions you have for me to try out as I would be interested to hear what you recommend and products that you enjoy. Right my list is making my mouth water, and so I'm off to down a Fentiman's Cherry Cola. Thank you.
