Curious if anybody had theories on why Lysine would curb appetite? There seems to be a lot of contradictory information surrounding this supplement, which is usually bad news. Most people take Lysine for herpes simplex type symptoms, but I was interested in using it for depression after taurine wasn't really helping in that capacity. The effect seems to be beneficial off the bat, although I did initially become very tired for the first few days after supplementing. I haven't actually used it long enough to offer concrete assertions, but my appetite is definitely reduced for many hours after taking a 600 mg capsule - there is a pleasant effect which takes place and then I will usually become hungry again but long after. (Almost as though i could skip entire meals, which I do not intend to do as I am at present fairly slender.)
