I got my vet to prescribe my very old small dog some thyroid medication. She prescribed ELTROXIN 100mcg tablets (also known as Levothyroxine), which turns out to be just T4.
Would a T4 only supplement not work well for dogs? I know t4 only supplements don't work well for humans.
