Effects On Impulse Control

Is any body familiar with this drug lowering impulse control?

I take 1mg a day either before bed or 0.5mg morning or evening. I noticed changes in my behaviour best summed as the title says (Basically indulging in vices like smoking again, eating too much etc) and the only regular factor seems to be the cyproheptadine

I sleep great with this stuff, and 'feel' fine but am aware of the changes.

It's very odd and interesting for what is 'only' an old antihistamine.

I also take haiduts 5-AR but this is the second bottle I've used so I have no reason to think it's that.

When you block dopamine you will seek out gratification in my experience.

Thanks guys, good to have my subjective experiences backed up.

So, any idea as to how to keep the good effects of cypro without the 'side effects'?

I'm 99% sure that I read here that taking it at night results in a shorter half life somehow so that's worth trying to keep the sleep benefits.
