Gellan Gum: The Next Carrageenan?

Starting to see food products with gellan gum in their ingredients more often (and less with carrageenan).
Is it just as bad?
Not that I purposely buy products with either.

I know that carrageenan is mostly known for its inflammatory effects. The gums seemed create a bacterial explosion for me. I'm not sure if it is a systemic inflammatory agent, but I noticed that there is a ton of bloating and discomfort, and then craving for the food with gum.... later on it seems that when I have gums consistently, my gut bacteria starts to Crave them, it's really weird
