Reusing Cold-Brew Coffee Grounds

Is there any harm in reusing cold-brew coffee grounds, if they are constantly refrigerated?

I make cold brew about once a week and find the process of drying and cleaning the filter (hemp sprout bag) to be exceeding tedious. I know that used grounds left at room temperature will readily promote the growth of some organism. Right now I keep the grounds in there jug until I brew another batch.

Can I continually add grounds to the bag until it is full? Is it essential to dry and clean the bag before each new batch?

Give it a shot.

I know re-using hot coffee grounds is nasty, but cold brew would seem OK.

Why is it nasty?
I do a 1st coffee in the morning and then do another one later, with the same coffee.

I don't know. I don't even remember writing that.

I do it too sometimes. It's not that bad, but it makes for relatively bland coffee. It still tastes OK, just not as good by comparison.

Yes, not as good, I just save money and have less caffeine later in the day.
I thought it might release something more when you keep sucking from it!
