There is not testing for quality by the FDA or anyone. Use reputable manufacturers like, PURE, Douglas, Ortho, Thorne and others. Swanson is not a brand I would choose. My daughter is has a MS in dietetics and Functional Medicine and she is my resource for supplement quality although I too am in the medical biz, (clinical pharmacy).
