Estrogens do this? Most guys I know are like this but not girls. It's actually why I enjoy being friends with girls much more than with guys even though I'm not gay.

Maybe progesterone is the reason behind that.

You imply that estrogens are "female" hormones, that's not correct though.

Its funny cause cultures whose diets consist of alot of phytoestrogens like Mediterraneans or middle easterners are known for being overly hairy loud aggressive shorter height stocky frame and loose head hear early....being southern Italian myself I see these characteristics in my people everyday lol...they live a long time tho ironically.

Survival of the meanest and most aggressive. So much for survival of the healthiest.

Nitric Oxide is known to cause aggression as well.

"While establishing a colony of mice lacking the gene for nNOS, it was observed by laboratory staff that mice were suffering apparently violent attacks by their cage mates. When the mice were tested in a resident-intruder model, it became clear that nNOS knockout mice were violently and inappropriately aggressive, displaying 3–4 times more aggression than wild-type residents and initiating attacks six times more frequently. nNOS knockout mice continued to attack even after the intruder had shown signs of submission (Nelson et al. 1995)." source

Isn't that saying removing nitric oxide caused aggression? Not that nitric oxide caused aggression?

In the past ive taken NO supplements, still do before sex. I notice its very potent for erectile function. Is this because of estrogen or testosterone being raised? Bodybuilding community thinks NO raises test. But what do they know in reality lol

It's a very powerful vasodilator (increases blood flow), which is why it's good for erections (nitric oxide is actually what Viagra works on). But it damages your energy producing systems over time, so even though it might seem to be beneficial in the short term, it's actually damaging your respiration.

So then what would be a good way to cycle NO supplements short term?...I have a can of L - Citrulline that i rarely ever use.

Yah it does, the exact opposite of what I said lol. Was trying to figure out how I read that wrong :???: Thanks for pointing that out, I don't really want to spread misinformation!

That's actually very interesting that mice with the inability to make nitric oxide in the brain are super aggressive.

And it could be interesting for those who use NO destroyers (MB..).

I don't think Peat would say NO is ever appropriate to use a supplement at all

It depends what is raising NO. Viagra actually caused me to start having very unfilling orgasms. I think there are threads around here saying that it messes with androgens. I consider it poisonous.

However, something like horny goat weed or ginseng can cause the increased NO effect, but with increased quality of orgasms, etc. So those compounds have other things going on (perhaps increasing estrogens as well as androgens).

I think it's fairly clear by now that the most aggressive, estrogenic people have higher fertility rates, and enhanced reproductive fitness.

However, this probably does vary a lot by social status. A very rich powerful person can "afford" to be aggressive, while a lower middle class person cannot.

I also think that in the long term, the less aggressive people could possibly be advantaged, simply because aggression is a good correlate of low intelligence. Depends on the context really, and it seems that the human world is turning back toward the aggression = fitness direction.

Low status people are more aggressive. They are more fertile because they are r-selected and primitive. Fight, ****, and feed.

Didn't say anything about low status people, only medium status and high status ones.
